Hunting for Breakfast
While out shooting the Flatirons this morning, I came across this mother fox out hunting for her two pups. I’ve never seen this behavior outside of TV, so this was an extra special treat for me today. This was right along Baseline Rd, on the north end of Chautauqua Meadow. The fox didn’t seem to care that I was 20 yards from her pups either, she occasionally looked back at me to make sure I wasn’t going near her pups in the low brush to my right. Great morning!
Of course there are the CLASSIC Flatirons shots like this one image from first thing this morning — even with a faint hint of Alpenglow!
