Longs Peak Sunset – Upper Beaver Meadows
We spent the day with family camping up at Moraine Campground inside Rocky Mountain Nation Park last weekend, and I couldn’t help but to sneak away and hit this spot for a quick sunset view of Longs Peak. I love the framing options at this locale as well. This shot in the fall is really spectacular too.

Chipmunk at Mueller State Park
Took the family camping this weekend at Mueller State Park, and played around with the D500 and 200-500 combo again. This little chipmunk decided to come out and pose for me. Sweet deal for me.

Owlets on 119th
I just had to head out to photograph these little guys with my new D500 and 200-500mm lens. This image is cropped in a little bit (because I can at 20Mpx!) and it came out nicely!
